Hi. My name is Amber, and I'm located in the Pittsburgh/Southwest PA region.
I graduated from Tom P. Haney Technical Center in Panama City, FL for massage therapy in 2004. My formal education included 750 hours of classroom studies in anatomy and physiology. My professional massage training includes Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, trigger point, pre-natal, infant, chair and therapeutic techniques. While in school, I exceeded my volunteer hours by giving back to the community and massaging at: the medical tent during the Iron Man Triathlon; a few different walk-a-thons; hospitals and schools.
Since I have graduated, I have built up a successful clientele with a wide variety of needs. I help clients regain range of motion while recovering from surgery/injury, I help professional athletes maintain their bodies and help them recover faster from the wear and tear that happens during their vigorous training, professional wrestlers, as well as everyday working men and women who simply want to experience the amazing therapeutic benefits of massage therapy. I have worked two years in a thriving chiropractor’s office and another two years for my community’s largest fitness center. I currently serve my clientele in spas, hotels, retirement homes, private homes, and even backstage during concerts. No matter the place, I can fit in anywhere!
In October 2009, I auditioned with internationally-known massage leader Dr. Dot in New York City. She hired me on the spot as I was able to meet her very high standards and I am extremely honored to work under her!
